Training

Let me introduce myself. My name is Richard Bryant-Jefferies. I am an author of books (non-fiction and fiction) on counselling and psychotherapy themes, and self-development. I have had over 20 titles published and numerous chapters in books edited by other professionals.

 

I also have experience of working in the NHS as a manager and healthcare professional, working in addictions and in management roles. Since 2006 until early 2014 I was Head of Equalities and Diversity at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust in London.

 

Training offered

I have 20 years of experience of running training for professionals from a wide range of backgrounds and professions. Training content has included:

person-centred counselling

counselling and communication skills,

personal and spiritual growth,

working with people who have alcohol problems,

cultural competency,

implications of the Equality Act 2010,

equality impact assessment.

 

People attending have included staff from the NHS, local authority services, as well as voluntary and independent practitioners.
